Friendly Inspiration

Words of a friend greet me this morning As a smile returns to a once barren face They enliven my spirits, exciting me deep What once was despair, my friend has erased Alive in a feeling, where thoughts now permit Come words through a voice, that echo within I’ll write them all down, allowing my thoughts To form into poems for you then again

It takes so little to lighten up someone's whole day. So beautifully expressed. Glad you found joy within the words of a friend. Love, Shar

Isn't it amazing what friendship can do? Lifting our spirits with a few words of encouragement. It can mean the world to someone in despair. Your poem is a wonderful reminder to all of us, that we can always be a friend to someone else who needs support. Thank you for the reminder, Michael! ~ Carrie

Thank you Michael for commenting on my poem. I enjoyed reading this one. I could relate to what it says, sometimes we form poetry because of the sheer thought of that special someone. This one was sweetly said. Love, B.
