Friendly Giant
The way ahead is open
The way ahead is clear
The sun shines over
The sky is vast and near
I reach upward seeking
The warmth of natural heat
I follow the path of the
golden ball as it retreats
Each day I show my appreciation
To the star of glowing heat
The bees buzz and fall sleepy
I let them stay for free
I see the birds and the people
Looking up at me.
Giant is what they all say as they cast their eyes on me
I stay a while for their admiration
And then I go to sleep
I seed my life for others to see similar to me
A giant sunflower gives some pleasure to humans, birds and bees.
