Friend Wit Someone

I am, I was, I can be…Yes! I am your friend We walked to school together we were co-creators of neighborhood clubs We drew and wrote are own comic characters we were brothers In the beginnings of our time even in the rains of the lands I am, I was, I will always be Yes I am your very good friend Even in the mist of our pains, I shall always be a witness We were of difference races during the racial conflicts and yet we didn't get it What's with all the hate Next door neighbors You are one of the greatest being I am, I shall always try to be As free to be a friend to you As you are a friend to me a friend is a friend no matter How heated the world around you gets In the daily rewards, and sorrows I will always pray for you, always As you are a friend to me I am, you are one with whom You are one who has a bond of mutual affection

"We were of difference races during the racial conflicts and yet we didn't get it " As Rodney King said "Can't we just all get along?" Well thought out and it spoke to me in a solid, happy way James.
