I haven't talked to you in a little while
We are a million miles away, friend of mine
You always seem to make me smile
We are a million miles away, but we're fine

Oh, I wish things would work out for the better
Ah, I often hope love could mend us together
Oh, I pray that happiness is a cloud away from us
Ah, I often dream that we're on the same bus

Friend of shine
There's a surreal sign
You and I will intertwine
The stars are aligned
We'll no longer be blind
You are a fantastic find
Life for us will be kind 
You and I will make it
We have faith I admit

Sweat on my brow, I have learned to get by somehow
