Friend In Time
All we do is sit and think
And no matter what you do,
Time will bring it to you
And if there ain't no peace,
Then find it in there,
For all the joy is waiting somewhere.
Just be yourself,
Even if you are scared,
Survive through the day
and you'll see you're brave.
I know it brings so much pain
Every time you drift away
And fall back down to shouts in vain
For the dream you'll never obtain.
Now take comfort in cries,
You don't need the lies,
For you're worth more
Than those in disguise.
