FRIEND????
It's down to days before I leave, and excitement flowing
Plans working out with travel and visiting.
Instincts holding, reality and excitement
Before invite and talk of visit, you but a dream of past
I can feel the distance that began before you left
Open to really seeing what you shared, I started to believe in your words
Disbelief separates real kindness from thoughtless words.
Some actions never change disappointment
I have flight plans and will enjoy my vacation
I may get down BUT DO NOT NEED A FALSE FRIEND, TO STAND ALONE IS PEACE OF HONOR AND MY STRENGTH.
EXCITED I AM AND DONT NEED A GUIDE, I CAN EXPORE AMERICA ALONE.
