Friend
Knowing you are listening, is all I care.
Knowing you are there, is all I need.
Enough says nothing but contentment,
Satisfied arn't good enough a word.
To tell you,
A friend gained I cherish
And one like you I pray to keep.
Hope to know what you know,
Whiles you have what I have.
For a common uniqueness shared.
And I will say,
You are a friend
And you are my friend.
