I bet these are GREAT. I never liked the hominy or grits my Alabama friend used to make but these sound like something I might like.

I think that if you have a taste for fried eggplant; it goes well with them. Both are great for the summer picnics and you can fry them on the grill, too. Thanks

Ooooh! I am salivating at your words...Quite nicely crafted, M.L. … Maybe you could write a cookbook in verse. You sure demonstrate a knack for doing it here. Best wishes, Gershon

I did start a cookbook a number of years ago but, never thought of adding the poetry; thanks for the idea; I may finish that cookbook after all. Have a great day, Gershon.

Southern girl ...like them too. I am amazed at the variety of forms you enjoy to use. I see I can learn a lot from you. You are a university in yourself. Thanks for expanding my curious mind. I'm kinda new at this.

Thank you and you're welcome. I just like an occasional challenge, so I will try a new form every now and then. I find that some forms work better with some subjects than others.
