Friday the 13th

There is a lot of superstition
On the Friday the 13th
Many people think of fear
Of something going wrong

Some people won't venture out
For fear something bad happens
What about people born on the 13th?
Is it unlucky for them as well?
 
Black cats and dogs are feared
It does not make sense to me
After all the 13th is only a number
Friday a day of the week

For something unlucky
To happen..is a state
Of the mind
Friday 13th is a normal
               day
