Free-Floating

Cool, dark blue waters
Ringed by green, pointed pines
A white-clouded sky above 
And all of it fills my eyes

Free-floating ...
Held in summer's arms 
Held by the deep sound
Of the gurgling lake
Curled around my ears ...
