Freedom In Five Senses
Freedom tastes like fresh air,
that very first sigh
when the work clock finally strikes five;
Freedom smells like new money,
when you can leave the house
spend it, come back and throw a party;
Freedom looks like an open road,
as you smile and say
‘I’ve got all the time in the world
and absolutely nowhere to go.’
Freedom sounds like someone with no fear,
all wired up on passion
as they stand and bravely say
the truth that no one wants to hear;
Freedom feels like a shooting star
unlimited energy you can go so far;
freedom is only being limited
by who you think you are.
