Ladies and Gentleman,
    Boys and Gals,

I've spent the day meticulously mulling over masterpieces,
and I'm damn near afraid to put another word on paper...
but **** it, I don't need to read another novel, and brag
about the ten thousandth word I've read, because I know
damn well, the only words that matter, are the ones in my head.

So Ladies and Gentleman, hear this voice and remember it well,
it'll drag on forever, whether stretching to heaven, or in my case
hell, I'll still keep writing to have you all remember, to never lay down,
but to keep the beat inside your soul,
because no hard workin' job is honest, if it ain't
keeping your heart and spirit full.

                                                                                     December 18, 2011.
