Abosede Ogundare Poet Personification

Free Verse

I am writing you with  your beautiful garment 
To tell you I will be leaving you for awhile 
Other worlds I want to explore 

I have visited your nephew, HAIKU 
and the welcome was warm 
Your niece, MONOKU, gave me a cool smile on arrival 

Funny LIMERICK was affable too 
Maybe ACROSTIC I will go and camp with next 
Or I maybe in the hut of beautiful  CINQUAIN 
I don't know yet 

But, FREE VERSE,  bless me 
And pray I have a sweet journey 
...because for period I know not of 
I will be leaving you.
