What a true statement you make with your poem, Christopher! Yes, " Love is hard, hurts to give, but yet simple free. " It's hard when one isn't sure; it hurts when it's not appreciated ,or not shared or even exchanged...and yet it's so free to give. Thanks for your kind comments today. Have a wonderful evening. Christopher, love is free... and hard... now how can it be simple... "I think not!".,.. I think love is a game ... and at the end we all pay dearly...in good ways and bad... I believe that humans have the capacity to love if we will just choose to do it. But, we complicate it. We make it hard. We fill it with rules and destroy it with our failures and fears. But, it is really very simple. Put into us at creation.
