Free Fall
Bring yourself to the edge of what we call sane
and thrust yourself forward!
Plummet down the mountain side
into the cool morning.
The gnarled hands of lovers and drugs,
I mean trees. Will tell you safety is in reach if you just grab on
But what’s the fun in a steady hold
when you can see the world as is meant to be,
On the roll
just go with it. Scream kid, scream!
Blow out your throat and cry until your eyes are dry
Jump into frigid rivers and start fires
But never
Fall into the spiral this world feeds
That is not love, that is distraction.
And we are so much better
