Free Cee While I Could Not Smile

WHILE I COULDN’T SMILE

Didn’t she know?
Couldn’t she see?
I needed to go
So I had to flee

I had to hide
somewhere far away
it was time to decide
and do it right away

the magic was gone
only smoke remained
there was no use going on
since the fabric of love became stained

truthfulness ended with lies
something I couldn’t bear
I bid her too many goodbyes
But apparently she couldn’t hear

There was no going back
Back to when we were a smile
White was transformed into black
When wistfulness suddenly turned vile
