Free Cee We the Woefully Weak
WE THE WOEFULLY WEAK
We the woefully weak
learn how to walk feather lightly so the floorboards don't squeak
while the moon has clouds to hide behind
we will rob you brashly and blind
while the lights in your house are all unlit
we will rob your pocketbook and then help you look for it
man, we will say, where could you have put that purse
because all of us who are woefully weak suffer from the very same curse
we are cursed because we hurt when it's cold or hot
and all because we said yet when offered that very first shot
the one that introduced you to a cloud that comes from heaven above
and to us junkies there ain't even a scintilla of love
we haven't the capacity to care about anything or anyone
we want what we want and won't need a knife or a gun
We may not end your life as you know it to be
but we'll make you feel certain you're about to meet eternity
junkies have a way of worming their way out
because for the most part they are worms without a doubt
so my advice to young people, especially a daughter
would be to turn my back on any man who says he can walk on water
