ONLY WHAT MATTERED MATTERED

It was a land with no clocks
Time didn’t matter
It was a land with no umbrellas
Rain didn’t matter
It was a land with no banks
Money didn’t matter
It was a land with no candles
Darkness didn’t matter
It was a land with no beds
Sleep didn’t matter
It was a land with no closets
Possessions didn’t matter
It was a land with no erasers
Mistakes didn’t matter
It was a land with no overcoats
The cold didn’t matter
It was a land with no solutions
Problems didn’t matter
It was a land with no restrictions
Limitations didn’t matter
It was a land with no regrets
The past didn’t matter
It was a land with no opulence
Extravagance didn’t matter
It was a land with no competition
Winning didn’t matter
It was a land with no maps
Directions didn’t matter
It was a land with no clouds above
It was a land where the only thing that mattered was love
