Free Cee Neither To Defend Nor Mend

NEITHER TO DEFEND NOR MEND Perhaps the lady is trying to say it mattered not how it all came to an end Her with no defenses and me with actions I cared not to defend Maybe the woman is attempting to explain her appreciation for the time we two shared She who always envied me and me who never really cared She keeps speaking of a past she cherishes even though it’s gone And my how the lady does go on and on She persists in bringing up what I always knew was a lie And that which finally brought the lady so to cry And oh how I remember those tears accompanied by moans and her purred pleas She of heat when held then beheld me from afar and a freeze Those moans of misery meant little to a man who had found someone new Because that’s what heartless human beings and lascivious lovers sadly do Lately I look back on that lady who my haughtiness and heartlessness hurt so Because I didn’t really care about that which I now know I now know that sometimes there are actions one can never go back to mend And that perhaps, after all, I had quite a few decisions to defend © 2012…..PHREEPOETREE ~free cee!~ maybe some of you geniuses know what choka is as for me i carried a double major for 4 years in analytical poetry and creative writing and ain't got a clue what 1/50th of these forms are
