Free Cee Motivation Is On Vacation But Cancer Never Goes Away
MOTIVATION IS ON VACATION BUT CANCER NEVER
GOES AWAY
They give me only one simple answer
and that is “it's only malignant cancer”
so they ran out of my medication
and no one will help because they lack motivation
they must have known I was going to run out
of that there is little dispute or doubt
or perhaps they just didn't remember
but what if this happened to their family member?
I know what the answer is to that query
and it leaves me lethargic and leery
the answer is that family member would have his medication
even if the doctor was out golfing or on vacation
but it's only me, another victim of inconsequential care
and this is pain a person like me cannot bear
it's not the least bit right nor is it fair
and concern for me is retroactive and rare
so now I lay in bed unable to think
because i'm a boat's captain and the ship is about to sink
I never wanted to be a singer or dancer
and I never wanted people who would say “hell, it's only cancer”
