Free Cee Knock Knock Who Is Fear

KNOCK-KNOCK, WHO’S FEAR? Do you want to know what it is I hear? It’s silence because I’ve heard it all before Do you want to know what I really fear? It’s nothing, because I’m used to fear knocking at my door Knock-knock Who’s there? It’s fear Well fear, get away from here I am immune to your tired old tune An insipid song about something or other So next time I suggest that you try another Since I am no longer afraid of the fright you have caused And you no longer have the power you once possessed So simply stop singing and give it a rest Now, Mr. Fear, make it coherently clear What it is I should be afraid of I don’t fear dieing and am jaded by love And didn’t you hear that I no longer fear fear Because fear is only fear if one lets it near And I choose to keep fear forever at bay As I command you, fear, to fearfully slip away Quietly and with command over each one of your steps I want to see fear fade far into a mist To the darkness of winter and the sovereignty of spring While I forget your awful and awesome offering So if you want to know what it is that I hear The sound that lulls me to sleep every night It is a sound of the fading footsteps of fear Taking with it the specter of insufferable fright © 2008…..free cee!
