Free Cee If You Have To Ask Why

IF YOU HAVE TO ASK WHY……..

I am begging on my crisscrossed knees
What time is it, please?

“Why?”
Well, it may be time for me to die

“You die, why?”
Because of all the ones I once made cry
And chose to deny
Offering them a piece of the pie
But letting them all eat cake
For sorrow’s sake
‘neath a burnt sienna sky
So that is why…….
why this could be the fragmentary fact of fate when destiny deems me to die
While the willfulness of time torments me with a torrential and torrid tempest
and a storm is brewing just over a bleeding and misbegotten horizon
But sorrowfully,
While I’ve stood here ruminating,
And recognition was reckoned
Sadly, I’ve survived another second
More time to suffer being me

“Oh, now I see”
