Free Cee I Wish This Was Not His Plot

I WISH THIS WAS NOT HIS PLOT

Death is certain
life is not
and in between
lies some kind of hideous plot

fortunes are made and taken away
children are born only to die
tomorrow always trumps today
and i'm made to wonder why

people build castles with motes and all
to keep away the vagabonds like me
I answer to an ungodly call
and know for sure i'll never be free

death can't be assuaged
but life is God's choice
everyday somewhere war is waged
and the Lord won't listen to my plaintiff voice
