HERMES AMAZES ME

I accidentally gazed into a mirror today only to find my reflection of revulsion
I stared at a man who appeared to be stark raving mad
A man who gazed back at me with the same type of disgust that I had

That man looked as if he was unable to decipher or decode any kind of confusion

But in an effort to state the following with adequate elocution
I must opine that the man appears as if he should be confined to any reputable mental institution
A man who looks as if he should be donned in a straight jacket with arms secured safely in the back
And whatever he carries in his beat up and battered blue and black backpack

But I’ve heard thousands suggest that precept thousands of times or more
And in any event, that happens to be the look I am going for
