FOREVERBORE
I don't believe in forevermore
everything one day will fade away
the shards of the sphinx will lay on the floor
and that's just one more day of forevermore

oh my darling I'll love you forevermore
unless a divorce does away with that vow
in any case forevermore to me is something to ignore
and sometimes forevermore could be right now

regarding forevermore I don't believe there is such a thing
not unless a physicist can prove it to me
as far as i'm concerned forevermore is just a fling
and there is no forevermore to be

I can only tell you what I believe
and too oft living becomes a chore
there are times for smiles and times to grieve
and for those who died today this was their forevermore
