Free Cee Doom At Dusk
DOOM AT DUSK
Life is a series of random rooms
Dens of delight
Quarters of quiet in the night
Nests of nativity
A refuge of relativity
Sanctums of serenity
Chambers of change and chagrin
All the rooms we members have been within
Life is who you are placed in those rooms with
People of pleasure
Folk of fantasy to treasure
Men too mighty to measure
Women too flighty and levitated by leisure
Those with goals irrelevant
Those with possessions extravagant
Those of particular consequence
Those who make no particular sense
People as per their particular pretense
People who weather the wood of white picket fences
Men whose deities are defenses
Women who wear white when they ought not
Men who make a woman’s pleasure their plot
Life is who enters and exits those rooms
With lies
With goodbyes
With a fare thee well
Or a may thee go to hell
And oh how I do too oft regret the contractions that cast off my original room
Life is what happens after exiting the womb
To breathlessly enter room after room….
