Free Cee Begot By Blood a Bud and Beauty

BEGOT BY BLOOD, A BUD AND BEAUTY I once beheld of royalty’s rose A crown that created a kingdom bound Such is the beauty breathlessness bestows With an ample bow upon relinquished ground I surrendered to a rose that day When wonder wept winter away And came a frost with fangs and claws That I should acquiesce to a resplendent rose Or suffer the sting of stringent pain By a thorn born to beguile And whittle love to a sharpened tip With a razor readied with wretched retribution Where absolution is absorbed by the flesh of an atrocity And pity portends not for a man of meager means Who walks through scenes where tragedy triumphs over tribulation And the incubation of insanity invades the ether in his mind And blinds him to the thorns that summon forth his red bled from the veins of violence And secluded in the soul of silence My blood Shed in the name and fame of a flower Who held in her soul a clock that calls upon a callous hour And the death of one man’s right to rise above love and find peace perceived With requisite respite received And yes, I said I bled I once bowed to a bud of beauty When devotion became one man’s duty ‘twas then when negativity was deemed by need And a beautiful bud begot me to bleed © 2012…..PHREEPOETREE ~free cee!~
