Nothing to guide me; no map, no phone,
I bought my ticket and decided to roam
Europe. A majestic sight I needed to revive me.
Walking alone aimlessly day after day;
Captured in solitude I wanted to stay,
I watched the sunrise over Barcelona, I was free.
The rainy streets of London were a bustling mess
I stumbled in and out of pubs feeling no stress
for the first time in a long time. I was free.
Amsterdam was full of entertainment, no time for rest.
I sat by the canals with strangers exhaling duress.
An overwhelming feeling engulfed me, I was free.
