How terribly difficult to be.
As if I am real, this world a dream.
I am alright, or at least I think,
These days it’s hard to tell or feel.

As it seems I float on time.
Some walked on water,
I walk within my mind,
After all the weight I’ve had to carry,
perhaps a greater stride.

Perhaps, I now display some pride,
either way I feel alright.
I woke one day and stood to find,
the brightest smile, that’s ever shined.

It is a work of art,
warming at a world apart,
melting down my frozen heart,
I stand in awe, that’s just the start.

For I rise to my feet,
no longer down in defeat,
I am here, though beat,
to be a better me.

So one day when she wills to see,
she will find a blooming tree.
As I’ve been cut down many times before,
but now again I am free.
