Notes About The Poem

Frankenstein Monster

Frankenstein monster, created by mind
Fears and desires, gripping us in their bind
All brought about by weakness of stupor
Tentacles consuming us like cancer
Dark veils of delusion, leaving us blind

We fell from grace, when with love misaligned
Thoughts, words and deeds, ego urgings unkind
Given to lust, rage, envy and rancour
Frankenstein monster

In timeless time, this simple truth divined
We are free when feral cravings declined
In void of cessation, soul shifts higher
Imbibing hues of divine loves flavours
Swathed in rapture of bliss, we leave behind
Frankenstein monster
