Frankenstein

Footsteps in silence Joy in sorrow Calm in the midst of an inner storm Everything about you is an opposite, an extreme in the simplest form Frankenstein come out of the shadows and into the daylight, only to find what you seek The one physical need you can’t suffice is distant Can you see the fear in my eyes? Can you see my own vulnerability, that restrains my soul The terror, that causes my heart to shudder my very body to shake when you look at me Do you not feel my body tense as you run your fingers across my bare skin? You’re relentless, and heartless A monster with a dead beating heart Alive in every sense, yet your touch brings death You’re a plague to the world A deadly sickness, that only brings death but behind those sad, angry eyes A yearning for acceptance shines brighter than ever Your misshapen, big hands reach for my heart ready to take my love even if I refuse to give it Ready to seize me, in a heart beat With a terrible strength, to silence my scream forever if I so much as resist Yet, I stay for your words alone, The soft way you say my name The gentle tone that softens my heart and stills my raging heartbeat the terror of your love brings Our love is a war, Between fear and serenity As a raging storm at sea And the calm, breathtaking beauty of a sunset Our love is full of polar opposites But we are polar opposites, Me in my simple beauty And you in those dark secrets That plague your soul A deadly game of love, That only one can win

Not exactly accurate in relation to the book of Frankenstein, but the implication and contrasting someone to the monster is the point I'm getting at. Anyways, tell me what you think. Thanks.
