Frank...

It was the strangest thing
when frank came undone,
we thought it was the gravitational pull

but he never broke all the way down

we asked him how the weather was
but you know Frank,
he was never much for chit-chat
always a little morose

so there he was
in such a state
we almost couldn't even see Frank
he might as well have been in pennsylvania
though I hear the waters no good

and he never did say why
Frank was always inscrutable
just sat there with his rotten pumpkin

it had sat out there for months

we always looked at Frank
thinking how he was a bit childlike
but never in an adoring, innocent way of course
in an unreasonable, pestering way

sad really, his age was beyond him

and the day we talked about?
well that was the last of him
Frank was the last of us

i think when he left there was no point
to have an us anymore, i mean

we wondered where he could go
with a sanity so flustered
and we knew after that he wouldn't make it

a strange relief, our mutual decision

Frank always said
he wanted to go out with a bang, after all

Well, not exactly sure about this one and some say that is very good writing..I feel a piece that is humorous but then at the end I feel that this is about suicide..Sara
