Frailties and Will

Led on, I am your mother, deprived of all emotion but hate, robbed of my innocence and patience. Prove to me your love through death. Led on, I am your father, the one to command your respect. Show me the strength of a warrior. Exact revenge on the infadels. Led on, I am your savior, planning our peaceful future, sitting atop my throne, while I send the hopeful to die. Led on, I am your leader, your mother, your father, your savior, trust in me. But before you ride out to glory, to service of a higher calling, I am blind, might you hand me my glasses? I am deaf, won't you sing your goodbyes? And I am headless, but deliver my crown. You see, victory lies in the image. And through my frailties and will I ensure your son will rest inside wooden freedom.
