Fragments

Fragments

The day I saw you I though you were the one for me
I beamed with joy and happiness every day I spent time with you
But our relationship was a long way from perfect
Bumpy and slow
But the joy I felt was unimaginable
I never knew that the day would ever come
Where you would break me and move on
You left me in fragments
sharp and small
You were my everything
but I was nothing to you
But I will heal
and our relationship will feel unreal
Like it never happened
the fragments that you left me in will come back
and form a new person.
