Fragmented Truths
Fragmented truths intermingled with lies,
falsehoods wrapped up in alluring disguise.
Beware the deceiver's beguiling song.
His only desire is to do you wrong.
He'll take what is false and make it sound true,
Unless you're prepared he'll make a fool of you
with
his
fragmented truths intermingled with lies,
falsehoods wrapped up in alluring disguise.
"Did God really say....?", the enemy once asked,
of the two who had been personally tasked,
with upholding His standard of holiness.
They believed the deceiver and Oh! what a mess,
because
of
fragmented truths intermingled with lies,
falsehoods wrapped up in alluring disguise.
Our enemy works the same way today,
twisting the truth to lead us astray,
then causing the guilt of our sin to torment,
but that's why Jesus our Savior was sent
to
rescue
us
from
fragmented truths intermingled with lies,
falsehoods wrapped up in alluring disguise.
