Fragile
O' Lord, we are but flesh and blood
O' Lord, we are prone to falls;
by day and night, free is from floods
the waters, thru' which we crawl.
Fragile are our lives O' Lord
fragile are our minds O' Lord;
pity us Lord, we weep
thy Mercy, O' Lord we keep.
The sound of dragging metal
made my heart jump, a stop;
a soul underneath so feeble
alive only by the Lord.
As people came rushing in
seeing the man beneath;
his bike in total ruin
the car in total freeze.
O' Christ thy Mercy shows
although our sinning beats;
Thy taketh' away our woes
that Death shall not visit.
So pray and pray my friends
even in rain or shine;
to spare us from lofty fiends
His Love! ever so sublime.
Amen!
