Notes About The Poem

FRACTURED DAWN

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the night exhales~ a slow, silver breath etching itself onto glass. morning presses close, a blurred thumbprint of gold. between them, the world suspends~ half ice, half fire, whispering: Wait.
Love this, Sara. Your imagery "etching itself" into morning is perfect and so visual. I can feel the cold of a winter morning just as the sun rises with a sense of anticipation like the new year! Happy New Year! May the coming year be filled with happiness and more success! Blessing and hugs!
