Four Roses

Four roses in a whiskey bottle 
Its top lain at its base 
Upon the grand trimmed in gold 
Beside the fireplace 
The dancing flames, tickled ivories 
Laughter on her face 
A poor reflection through his glass 
Four roses, an antique vase
