Four Days To Reawaken
A beautiful dream awakened me
someone, it seemed, was beckoning
from deep within my innermost soul
a force so strong yet lovingly
a gallant knight imagery
a fantasy unsettled within me
decades of a dream that consumes me
once again I take the journey
on an endless love yearning
the very epitome of my identity
igniting a fire within me
if only it were my reality
this gallant knight that hunts me
years of dreaming seamlessly
my soul erupting unconsciously
a burning desire lingering
the massiveness of his entity
fulfilling an emptiness within me
from a long ago history
at last a voice came to me
the first time amidst my dream
a voice uttered unto me
a familiar soft whisper
four days to reawaken
a love wrongfully shaken
four days to reawaken
a love once forsaken.
