Found Favour
My classmates were all ahead of me
Adult i was, their ears is sharper than my
I lost old words to adapt the next in try
Then I found favour in poetry
Poetry favour is far ahead of me
Adult I was, its rhyme is sharper than my
I lost older poem to adapt the next
Then I found favour in famous poets
Poets were far ahead of me
Adult I was, they own the poems
I lost their older poems for the new
Then I found out, the poets were all dead
I read their poems at times at loud
At times silently to quench my loneliness.
