Forwards and Backwards

Hollow eyes; unknown origins.
Lost and lurking through moral sins.
Unsure masses try to follow.
Origins unknown; eyes hollow.

Pendulum; coming is going.
Which is time? Reaping or sowing?
Lulled eternally; gentle hum.
Going is coming; pendulum.

Enlightened. Storms fill horizons.
Nonsense, these surreal sirens.
Demons bask in shadows frightened,
horizons fill; storms enlightened.

Dark hearts, behold embers in coal.
Beating or fleeting? Time and toll
revel the spark. Yet, neither hark.
Coal in embers, behold hearts dark.

Forwards, backwards; backwards, forwards.
Time circles all death; like black birds.
Forevermore, living last words.
Forwards, backwards; backwards, forwards.
