awww, poor plants - I suppose there will be a lot of that happening (but it never happens to brambles & weeds!)

Jack, Brambles and weeds just come by stronger and bigger than ever with no effort from the gardener. LOL..Thanks for the visit. Sara

We had minus 7 degrees celsius, which was VERY cold in July this year - South Africans not used to such icy weather and our homes have no insulation - yours sounds bitterly cold also. Keep warm, lovely Haiku. Hugs and blessings Jennifer

Thank you, Jennifer for dropping by. Yes, our nighttime temperature was about the same as your temperature but I don't know if that was your night or day if day then it was probably a good bit colder there than here. I looked up South Africa here lately and I saw on there that the climate was very similar to here. So I guess you were a little cold as well. We do drop down some years to really cold with ice and sometimes snow but not very often. Sara

Nice one. Cold here in Europe as well. But will escape the winter and travel to South Africa soon. Kind wishes, Kai

It was 40 degrees (Celsius) today where my son is stationed in the Israeli Army. What a difference Celsius makes! Smiles, Gershon

Gershon, Yes, whether Celsius or Fahrenheit makes a big difference. I would not want to be enduring the high temperature that your son was enduring. I like the much cooler weather. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Phyllis, Thank your for the stay well. It is colder here than summer but not quite as cold as winter yet. We were at 42 this morning with a very strong northerly breeze. We did not freeze or get frost which is a good thing but we might see it later on this month. Your visits to my pages were uplifting. Sara
