Fort of the Road

Fort Of The Road

You left me for another
How would you understand
My feeling for you was strong and yet you lied
For me to be me,I do what I want
Your no more then ashes that taste of despair
For your swift tongue no wonder your alone
You say that and not even blood wants you
Death has come more then once, and yet your by my side
I said I'd stay but I know I'll become a lost memory if I don't
Then, let us fall into a endless pit
To fight and fall or to hold and sleep, which be it?
Shall we embark on that path?
Never we have paths of our own to choose, yet yours be alone?
Then one of great blood shed and free release
I need my stones and for you've tricked me
And yet you still stay, be you a fool?
Yes I be one only for you,So come and hold me until we sleep
Shall this be our road? And how we travel will be a mystery
Is together even apart well find each other for this is our path
We travel it together even apart
That is out wish

Interesting work that you have penned..I would say that God or someone smiled down on someone who escaped death twice..Sara
