Forseen

If the future could be seen
By any one or two of us ,
Would we lose our faith to dream
Before the ones who truly must...
To know where's the beginning
Right before it comes to end,
Would bestow upon the living
Everything that death pretends...
In breath before the breathing
Or in beat's that's after heart,
Assumed and so misleading
As it tears your soul apart...
But such fragile nonexistence ,
That would lend the gift of sight,
Would deceive my own persistance
That's consistent of what "might"...
But I can see my future
So clairvoyant as can be,
Looking in my daughter eyes
Staring back inside of me...
