Forsaken Love

Why have thou forsaken me with eye’s that lust my love.
For curiosity has tempted me and I am willing lead by a fool’s heart
Only to surface in a poet’s pen by expression I am self explanatory

But there lies a place deep in my soul
A doorway to life which leads to the root of every situation
As broken tear drops stain the ground traced in forbidden sorrows
For she has spoken with a tongue full of lies

What have I done my love?
Forgive thou heart
As he embraces a forbidden oath
A sacred vow made by two that was destine to be torn apart
Longing for what is Forsaken Love
