Former Marriage

I was married to a man, who I loved with all of my heart. Until, one horrible evening. My marriage fell apart. How could this have happened, after so many of years? The news I would be given. was one of my biggest fears. Out of the blue I received a call. From another woman, I had no knowledge of at all. As my husband stood there denying all of the facts. She kept on insisting they were having an affair, behind my back. Her voice was so cold. It’s obvious she did not care. For a marriage or children. My husband and I had shared. I hung up the phone when the line had gone dead. Our marriage was over. What more could she have said. Although we are no longer together as husband and wife. I have since then moved on I am happy with my life. Written by: Gayle Niewahner Starks
