Forlorn Hope

FORLORN HOPE

     We were devoted on commitment
     ‘We won’t be apart.’
     Romance roamed, rolled on
Passion twined with emotive urge surging drifting.

With fervent fervor you dared to propose.
Life ought to be majestic marvelous
Haply heavy curtain of piercing pain dropped down

Call of family claimed, forced us to get separated
Innocent helpless confused lovers lost way.
We were never knotted on social tie
Despondence in deep dolor devoured us.

Hidden tears overflowed in silent stream
Two lone souls soared high in dormant dream.
We drank desires quenching thirst of amour.
We parted with a forlorn goodbye wave.
