Forgotten Ways

A feverish touch
 Repelling lost faith
 Crossing ages decline
 There my mind caught
 Hemmed in by feelings.

Is that you I feel?
 Or is it a shadow
 Sunless I have endured
 Something touches me
 Who are you?

Wait I must think
 I have forgotten
 Things past my way
 Long years ago
 Is it really you?

Touch me once more.
 Breath with me
 I have felt this way
 Yet cried at its loss
 Can I believe?

Delicate hours enjoyed
 Can I reclaim them?
Is it so real, what I feel?
Touch me, tell me it is true.
 Damn these dreams.
