Forgotten Mothers

Mother I am sorry for the years
I had forgotten
And for the days I did not care.

For all those wasteful moments
Time not shared
Mother forgive me
My heart was broken.

Anger got the best of me
I am sorry, I had forgotten
To send flowers fill with love
Packages wrapped in a bow.

Cards fill with words
Expressing my love and gratitude
Mother forgive me for my ignorance
Time has pass.

Time has heal
Mother can you hear me
I am sorry.

For every year, for every month
Every week and every day
Mother I write these words with a tear
I miss you and I care.

a heartfelt poem Patrica. My mother has passed years ago. I wish I had more time with her. Love the poem. SKAT
