Forgotten Moments

A MOMENT ago I saw a slice

of time slither by.

It spoke in anguish

for it could not cope

that not a soul knew of it.

Bland in color it melted

between the cracks of my wall;

across the barrier lay the 

shapeless mouths devouring

yesterday's lost moments ...
